The Town seeks to retain the services of a suitably qualified contractor to remove, design and build new playgrounds that will continue to support recreation play, inclusiveness[DT1] [AB2] , and socialization in the local neighborhoods. The Town requires one new playground in 2024 and, subject to budget approval, approximately six new playgrounds over the length of the contract. The Town will choose between proceeding with either Bow Meadows Playground or Crawford Park Playground in 2024. The Town will not move forward with both projects in 2024. Whichever project is chosen, the completion date will be Sept 30, 2024.
